MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — Richmond, a Pilgrim’s Europe brand, announced the arrival of its all-new Pigs in Blankets product offering, available exclusively in Tesco stores across the United Kingdom beginning Nov. 27.

The latest addition to Richmond’s Extra Tasty line, Pigs in Blankets are packaged with 12 classic cocktail-sized sausages wrapped in streaky, beechwood smoked bacon.

The launch of Extra Tasty Pigs in Blankets is designed to tap into demand around the holidays for pigs in blankets and help to boost Richmond’s sales during the seasonal period. 

“This launch is perfectly timed to meet the growing demand in the lead-up to and during the festive season, with taste continuing to be a key factor in consumers' purchasing decisions,” Doe added. “Richmond is a trusted heritage brand known for its continuous growth and innovation, and we’re confident this new product will resonate with shoppers, making their Christmas celebrations even more special.”

To make the holiday season even more special, Richmond has brought back its “Good Times” campaign, which aims to remind consumers to cherish the precious moments often taken for granted and to highlight the comfort of classic meals from trusted brands. With a £1.2 million ($1.26 million) investment, the campaign kicked off on Nov. 4 and will run for three weeks. Featuring both meat and meat-free options, the campaign runs across TV, VOD and social media platforms.
