CANON, GA. — Jarrett Foods, a custom poultry processing solutions provider, is continuing to build up its team with the latest addition of Jesus (Chuy) Rivas as the Canon, Ga., plant’s maintenance manager. As maintenance manager, Rivas will oversee on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing for all processing equipment.
Rivas will be responsible for training employees to operate and maintain equipment properly. With all team members well-trained in equipment handling, operational efficiency can be enhanced with minimal downtime.
“Chuy will play a key role in keeping our equipment running, training employees on operating our equipment and optimizing our production efficiencies throughout our operations,” said Heath Jarrett, chief executive officer of Jarrett Foods. “We are excited to have him join the Jarrett Foods team.”
Rivas brings a decade of experience to his new role.
Over the past year, Jarrett Foods has announced several appointments as the company works its work to the initial goal of growing its team from 70 employees to 300. A couple recent appointments includeNeil Martin as plant managerandChantel Carrillo as quality assurance manager. Additionally,Jarrett Foods President Terry Willis announced his retirement.
