AURORA, ILL. — Food processor OSI Group LLC looks to acquire Karnova Food Group, a protein ingredients supplier, according to private equity firm Endless LLP.

The Karnova Food Group was created after Endless acquired and integrated Yorkshire Premier Meat and Smithfield Murry in 2022 and 2023.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved with Karnova in a relatively short time period and have enjoyed working with the team,” said James Warburton, investment director for Endless. “We did not envisage selling Karnova this early, but OSI made clear their ambitions for the business, and they will be a fantastic long-term owner for the business with a market leading reputation.” 

Throughout the world, OSI Group operates more than 67 facilities with 20,000 employees in 17 countries. It sells food products in 77 countries.

Last October, OSI Group acquired Park 100 Foods, which produces kettle-formulated frozen soups, sauces, chili, side dishes, gravies and macaroni and cheese.
