These products are specially prepared using refrigerated, not frozen, ingredients that are seasoned to perfection, the company said. Product is smoked slowly to impart a hickory flavor. The franks are made from beef sourced from cattle that have never received added growth hormones or antibiotics and have been fed a 100% vegetarian diet from birth.
“Having grown up in ballparks, I know how important a good hot dog is,” said Nolan Ryan. “I definitely wouldn’t put my name on anything that doesn’t taste great!”
Nolan Ryan’s Hickory Smoked Beef Franks have no MSG, no soy and no gluten and are available in both 13 oz. and 14 oz. packages. The retail price will be between $3.99 and $4.59, a company spokesperson told MEATPOULTRY.com.
The new beef frank products have been introduced at home stadiums for the Corpus Christi Hooks and Round Rock Express ballparks. The franks are also available at various retail grocery distributors throughout the region.
