KANSAS CITY — MeatPoultry.com and sister publication FoodBusinessNews.net, in conjunction with Datamonitor and ICL Performance Products LP, will co-host “Shake it up: How low-sodium + calcium-enriched fortification can change your products for the better,” a free webinar that will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. Central time. The webinar will focus on market trends related to the development of better-for-you products and the specific roles food phosphates may play in product formulation efforts targeting sodium reduction and fortification.

Speakers participating in the webinar include Barbara Bufe Heidolph, technical service principal for food phosphates at ICL Performance Products; Nadeen Myers, a food phosphate specialist with ICL Performance Products; and Tom Vierhile, director of product launch analytics with Datamonitor. Dan Malovany, executive editor of
