MINNEAPOLIS – Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. announced for the third quarter ended Sept. 25, versus the third quarter a year ago, net earnings increased 32.5 percent to $11.3 million from $8.5 million, earnings per diluted share increased 29.8 percent to $0.61 from $0.47 and total revenue increased 30.7 percent to $197.8 million. Company-owned restaurant sales grew 32.2 percent to $181.0 million, while same-store sales increased 5.7 percent at company-owned restaurants and 4.2 percent at franchised restaurants

Sally Smith, president and chief executive officer, said football fans are now filling her restaurants and the company’s fourth quarter marketing plans are stronger than ever. “We will reach our goal of 13 percent unit growth for the year, and we are confident that net earnings growth will be at least 23 percent for 2011," she added.


“This is an exciting time for our brand,” she continued. “We’ll achieve our goal of 1,000 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in North America in 2013. And, we’ll continue to grow to 1,500 locations in the US and Canada, with hundreds more across the globe in the coming years.”

Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. operates 795 restaurants in 45 states in the US, as well as in Canada.
