ATLANTA – The US Poultry & Egg Association recognized three companies during the 2011 International Poultry Expo that have been exhibiting for 50 or more years at the Expo. Steve Willardsen, outgoing chairman of association and president of Cargill Value Added Meats, Wichita, Kan., presented plaques to each company in acknowledgement of their long-term exhibiting tenure.

Baader-Johnson Food Processing Machinery was recognized for 55 years of exhibiting at IPE. This company offers more than 60 years of experience in machine design and manufacturing for the food processing and poultry industries.


Cobb-Vantress Inc. was also recognized for 55 years of exhibiting at IPE. This poultry research and development company is engaged in the production, improvement and sale of broiler breeding stock. Beginning business in 1916 in Massachusetts, Cobb is the world’s oldest poultry breeding company and has developed into the global leader in broiler breeding.

Hubbard LLC was recognized for 50 years of exhibiting at IPE. This company has more than 85 years of experience in selecting the best genetics for the broiler industry. It specializes in state-of-the-art selection programs to improve the performance of their pure lines and offers a range of products to respond to the current and future needs of the broiler industry.
