BOCA RATON, Fla. – Jim Hawkins has been appointed vice president of DNA Brands Inc.’s meat snack division. The company produces DNA Beef Jerky and DNA Shred Stix, among other products. Hawkins will manage expanding and developing DNA Shred Stix and DNA Beef Jerky nationally across all channels.

"Jim Hawkins has extensive experience in securing and managing people, as well as overseeing a broker network on a national basis,” said Darren Marks, president of DNA. “Jim has also developed and continues to maintain a genuine rapport with retail chains. It is for these reasons we have selected Mr. Hawkins to spearhead our meat snack division on a national basis."


Prior to joining DNA, Hawkins served as the vice president of sales and marketing for Power Hungry Food and also held executive positions at Maple Leaf Farms and Crescent Food Sales.
