PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – J&J Snack Foods Corp. has agreed to acquire the frozen handheld business of ConAgra Foods for an undisclosed price. The acquired business sells dough-enrobed products under the brands Patio, Hands Full, Holly Ridge Bakery, Villa Taliano and Top Picks as well as private-label brands.

The business has manufacturing facilities in Holly Ridge, NC, and Weston, Ore. It has about $50 million in annual sales. J&J Snack Foods said it does expect the acquired business to contribute operating income over the short term. J&J expects the transaction to close in May.
