AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods Corporation has donated 55,000 Hormel Compleats microwave meals to a Feeding America food bank to aid in relief efforts for Joplin, Mo., following its recent deadly tornado that was responsible for killing 122 people with many more still unaccounted for.

“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tornado,” said Julie Craven, vice president of corporate communications. “As the rebuilding phase begins, we hope these meals are a convenient way to feed those in need.”
