INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Steak 'n Shake announced on Jan. 3 that it would not raise menu prices in 2012. In addition, customers who buy a sandwich with fries can order a free Orange Freeze through Jan. 5.

Sardar Biglari, chairman and CEO, said the move is intended to insulate its customers from inflation. Steak 'n Shake's menu prices are the same across the country, according to the company.

"Steak 'n Shake has an extremely strong value proposition that resonates with consumers," Biglari said.
