HENDERSON, Colo. – The Colorado Office of Economic recently named Birko a "Colorado Company to Watch". The company plans to celebrate the award with a "This Week" celebration Nov. 12-16.

"This Week" also marks the start of Birko's 60th anniversary, which will be celebrated with a gala event Nov. 15 for Birko's employees and customers.

"Reaching our 60th anniversary is an important milestone for Birko," said Mark Swanson, chief executive officer. "We're proud of our accomplishments in helping keep the food supply safe and pathogen free, while adding jobs to the economy."
