SOUTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Fiorucci Foods, Inc. is changing the company’s name to Campofrio Food Group America.
Fiorucci Foods, which produces Italian specialty meats, became part of the Campofrio Food Group (CFG) in 2011. The name change reflects the change in ownership, although Fiorucci products will be sold under the Fiorucci brand name. The company’s headquarters will remain in South Chesterfield. The Campofrio Food Group SA, which has headquarters in Madrid, Spain, is comprised of seven interdependent companies. It is the largest producer of processed meats in Europe.
“Our American customers will enjoy all of the benefits that Campofrio Food Group brings — from the wide range of genuine European products, to new innovations designed to provide the convenience and quality that modern consumers expect,” said Claudio Colmignoli, president and chief executive officer of Campofrio Food Group America.
