ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Triumph Foods, a pork processor and exporter, announced plans for a $9.5 million expansion of its processing facility, according to the St. Joseph News-Press.
Triumph intends to build a 30,000-sq.-ft. addition that will include new freezer space. The company said the addition would help meet consumer demand for pork, especially in export markets. Triumph Foods offers an array of pork products to domestic and international customers.
The expansion will create about 30 jobs at the plant. Triumph Foods currently employs 2,800 workers, according to the company’s website.
