AMARILLO, Texas – Funeral services for Donald Clift and his wife, Jana, have been scheduled for Nov. 16 at Hillside Christian Church West in Amarillo.
Donald and Jana Clift, and a third person died in a head-on collision Nov. 11. The accident occurred on Oklahoma Highway 33. A pickup truck driven by Carmen Spicer of Mannford, Okla., crossed the center line and collided head-on with the eastbound car driven by Clift, according to local news reports.
Clift was chief executive officer of Preferred Beef Group, Booker, Texas. He also served as director and co-secretary of the North American Meat Association.
“Don was a leader in this industry as well as a longtime member and friend,” said Jeremy Russell, director of communications and government relations for NAMA, in a statement. “He will be sorely missed.”
