INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Don Lee Farms announced the acquisition of a 140,000-sq.-ft. production and distribution facility in Mansfield, Texas.
The company plans to use the facility as an additional food production plant with a cold storage and distribution center. The facility is in a strategic location to major suppliers and customers, according to the company, and will provide a geographical focus on the South, Midwest and Eastern US.

Along with our core manufacturing and distribution facilities in California, the Texas facility will complement our overall operational ability to deliver the uncompromising quality and exceptional service customers have come to expect from us,” said Donald Goodman, president of Don Lee Farms. “The city of Mansfield has provided our company with a business-friendly environment and access to markets that will drive our future growth. Don Lee Farms is a family-owned manufacturer, co-packer, and national supplier of fresh and frozen fully cooked food products. The company's consumer products and other items are sold at Costco Wholesale, Whole Foods Markets, Sam's Club and Wal-Mart under the Don Lee Farms label, private brands and under brands of the company's partners.
