LONDON, Ontario and MANKATO, Minn. – Masterfeeds Inc. and Ridley Inc. have completed the merger of their respective commercial livestock and poultry feed and nutrition businesses in Canada. The new entity is called Masterfeeds LP.

Masterfeeds LP, a merger of Masterfeeds and Ridley's Canadian feed business, which operates as Feed-Rite, is the second-largest feed provider in Canada. Masterfeeds encompasses 22 feed manufacturing plants and more than 500 employees in a business that spans Quebec, Ontario and the Prairie Provinces. Rob Flack, president and chief executive officer of Masterfeeds Inc., was named CEO of Masterfeeds LP. The new entity has headquarters in London, Ontario.

Ridley Inc. is one of North America's leading commercial animal nutrition companies. Masterfeeds is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ag Processing Inc. (AGP), an Omaha, Neb.-based cooperative owned by farmers.
