CARLYLE, Ill. – Jason Logsdon was named chief executive officer of The Maschhoffs, LLC, the company announced recently.
Logsdon, who is also the chief financial officer and executive vice president of Product Supply and Operations, will succeed Ken Maschhoff, who will continue to serve as company chairman.

Logsdon, 36, joined The Maschhoffs as CFO 2003. He has been a company executive since 2006, along with Ken Maschhoff and Dr. Bradley Wolter, chief operating officer, according to the company.
He became executive vice president of Product Supply and Operations in 2010. Logsdon is a 1998 graduate of the Univ. of Illinois with a bachelors of science degree in agricultural economics. He previously worked at Merrill Lynch.

The Maschhoffs is a family-owned pork production company. It sells branded pork products under the Maschhoff Family Farms label.
