NEW YORK – Arby's announced the company has reached an agreement with "Eat This, Not That", — the Men's Health magazine book franchise — to license "Eat This" approved menu items that will promoted on Arby's website, social media and in-store promotions.
“We enjoy working with companies that understand the value of offering more wholesome alternatives on their menu, and Arby’s has made notable strides in this area,” said Duncan Milne, vice president of Custom Content for Rodale, which publishes the Eat This, Not That! series.
The “Eat This” approved items are:
- Roast Beef Classic Combo which includes a roast beef sandwich, a side salad (before dressing) and bottled water for a meal that is fewer than 500 calories.
- Roast Beef Classic Sandwich, which features roast beef that has fewer than 400 calories (less than 38 percent from fat) and fewer than 1,000 milligrams of sodium.
- Cravin’ Chicken (Crispy) is 510 calories, provides 15 percent of the daily value for iron and contains fewer than 1,200 milligrams of sodium.
- Cravin’ Chicken (Roast) has less than 400 calories and features roast chicken. It contains only 6 percent of calories from saturated fat and 1,000 milligrams of sodium.
- Farmhouse Salad is served with roast chicken and is 250 calories before dressing.
- Jr Roast Beef Sandwich has fewer than 300 calories, and provides 15 percent of the daily value for iron.
- Jr Ham & Cheddar has fewer than 250 calories (fewer than 38 percent from fat), less than 13 percent of calories from saturated fat, and fewer than 1,000 milligrams of sodium.
