MOSCOW – Russia's pork and poultry production industries posted gains in January, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Poultry output increased 17 percent to 262,000 metric tons in January compared to the year-ago period, and pork production advanced 14 percent to 61,600 tons. Beef production was weaker as output fell 3.2 percent to 12,100 tons in January compared to 2011, Bloomberg said.
