SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. – Just in time for the start of summer, Johnsonville Sausage announced the launch of its Pork & Chicken Sausage.

The sausage is available in Traditional Brat and Mild Italian flavors, the company said. The product combines fresh pork cuts and lean chicken. The Pork & Chicken Sausage has 50 percent less fat than traditional sausage products and is currently available at retail for a suggested price of $5.49.

"At Johnsonville, we know there is nothing like a summer cookout with family and friends," said Amber Brandimarte, Johnsonville senior brand manager. "We also know many folks are looking for better-for-you options to enjoy on the grill. We're so excited we finally have what people have been looking for – the amazing flavor of Johnsonville, with half the fat."
