JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – American Restaurant Concepts, Inc. which owns, operates, and is a franchisor of Dick's Wings & Grill restaurants, announced is temporarily waiving its up-front franchise fees for qualified veterans to assist in opening Dick's Wings restaurants.
President Obama called for a new Veterans Job Corps initiative to aid America's returning veterans in finding pathways to civilian employment in his recent State of the Union address,. American Restaurant Concepts Inc. typically will collect a franchise fee upon the opening of a new Dick's Wings concept. But with this new program, it will offer veterans an incentive to franchise with one of the company’s turnkey models – Dick's Wings & Grill, a 4,000–square-foot, full-service restaurant, or Dick's Wings Express, a 1,200- to 1,500–sq.-ft. express restaurant.
"We are pleased to offer America's military heroes an opportunity to become part of the Dick's Wings team," said Michael Rosenberger, CEO of American Restaurant Concepts and a US military veteran. "We believe waiving the franchise fees for our veterans will enable more of America's heroes to open a Dick's Wings concept and ultimately return to the civilian job market. We look forward to working with America's military veterans and remain grateful for the service they render."
