SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – Responding to consumer demand for more healthy meat snacks, Old Wisconsin introduced two new turkey meat snacks at the 2012 IDDBA Dairy-Deli-Bake show held recently in New Orleans.

Old Wisconsin Turkey Snack Slices and Turkey Summer Sausage are the latest additions to the company’s line of turkey meat snacks, which includes meat snack alternatives in sticks and bite-size formats, the company said. The products are lower in fat compared to traditional meat snacks and are trans-fat and gluten free.

“Americans consume more turkey than any other nation, and we’re proud to satisfy that demand by bringing consumers and our retailers the largest selection of turkey meat snack products in the industry,” said Jeff Weber, Old Wisconsin national sales manager.

Old Wisconsin Turkey Snack Slices come in a 6 oz. resealable package. The Old Wisconsin Turkey Summer Sausage is nine ozs. of premium turkey that is ready to slice.
