LOS ANGELES – McDonald’s has begun test marketing chicken wings on the menus of some locations in Australia and Spain. According to a report in The Los Angeles Times, the fast-food giant is offering its “Mighty Wings,” which are deep-fried, bone-in chicken wings, only in those markets, and has no plans of rolling them out nationally. US-based McDonald’s restaurants served the chicken in the 1990s for a limited time.
”This local market test reflects our desire to meet customer needs on a local level,” Danya Proud, spokeswoman, told the Times.
