The KFC Canada Zinger Double Down features two seasoned chicken breasts — marinated in KFC's hot and spicy seasoning — that are double-breaded and topped with spicy mayonnaise sauce, processed Pepper Jack cheese and two pieces of bacon. The sandwich will be available at all KFC Canada locations starting June 10.
David Vivenes, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC Canada, said there are no plans to add the Double Down as a permanent menu. He said fans of the sandwich prefer it as a special, limited time addition to the current line-up of premium chicken wraps, sandwiches and Original Recipe chicken.
