Wright brand bacon is the title sponsor for the World Food Championships' Bacon World Championship. Destination: Bacon Domination is nationwide contest for the best and most innovative bacon chefs to compete for a chance to battle in the Bacon World Championship for the title of 2013 Bacon World Champion and the 2013 World Food Champion. The WFC brings into a single competition the champions of premier food competitions and online recipe contests. Winners from seven categories faceoff before a celebrity panel. Prizes include $300,000 and bragging rights as 2013 World Food Champion.

The first Bacon Domination competitions will be held Aug. 23 and 24 at the Great Southern Tailgate Cook-Off, Amelia Island, Fla. and Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival in Kennesaw, Ga.
The contest will include festival cook-offs in four other cities, where competitors can earn a spot at the Bacon World Championship. A seventh chef will be selected through a global online bacon recipe competition.
