SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Blimpie is introducing grilled sub sandwiches, including one that will be offered on the restaurant chain’s new pretzel bread.

"Blimpie is bringing a new twist to the traditional subs with the craveable pretzel bread," said Kate Unger, vice-president of marketing for Blimpie.

The new sandwiches include:

• Turkey Bacon Cheddar, which features sliced turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, spicy mustard and tomato on grilled pretzel bread.

• Buffalo Chicken and Pepperoni, which features sliced buffalo chicken, pepperoni, provolone, sliced onion and peppercorn dressing on grilled Ciabatta bread.

• French Dip, which features sliced roast beef and Swiss cheese grilled between Ciabatta bread and served with a side of Au Jus.

The new subs have a suggested retail price of $5.59.
