IRVINE, Calif. – Golden State Foods, a global distributor and food processor, acquired a McDonald’s distribution center in Lebanon, Ill., from Gateway Distribution. The facility serves more than 350 McDonald’s restaurants in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and Kentucky, the company said.

We are excited to work with all of the associates, as well as the McDonald's owner/operators and suppliers in the surrounding markets."

Irvine, Calif.-based Golden State Foods is a diversified supplier to the quick service restaurant industry. The company's core businesses include processing liquid products, meat, produce, bakery, dairy and other services as well as full-line distribution to the quick service restaurant industry. Approximately 160 work at the Lebanon facility, bringing GSF’s workforce to nearly 4,500 employees worldwide, according to the company. GSF provides services to more than 25,000 stores in 50 countries from 38 locations on four continents. The company’s annual sales are nearly $6 billion with the acquisition of the distribution facility.
