DAVIS, Calif. – Brian Fall has been promoted to assistant vice president of Retail Sales for Superior Farms, a processor of lamb meat.
Fall started with Superior Farms in 1998 in the company's Washington warehouse. He worked his way up to manager of the facility, and was later promoted to sales.
“It was a unique situation because I worked closely with production staff in the warehouse, so I also did ordering, deliveries and accounting. I learned all the different aspects of the plants and the warehouse. That’s where I was introduced to a lot of different sales reps and learned more about our customers and the industry. Different employees took me under their wing and it was a natural fit,” Fall said.
He returned to the Seattle area five years ago and works from an office with Oversea Casing, which is affiliated with Superior Farms.
“Brian’s experience and great rapport with his customers makes this promotion a very easy decision,” said Gary Pfeiffer, executive vice president. “He’s the right person to move into this leadership role.”
Davis, Calif.-based Superior Farms is celebrating its 50th year in business as North America’s largest processor and marketer of lamb, according to the company. The company is a lamb supplier to retail and foodservice markets throughout the US, Canada, and more than 10 countries. The company has approximately 400 employees at its nationwide network of facilities and offices.
