
Jack Link’s starts job fair for new Georgia plant
PERRY, GA. — Global meat snack company Jack Link’s confirmed its latest push for hiring at its new Perry, Ga., facility.
The $450 million plant is expected to open in the summer and employ 800 people.
This week, the company will hold a job fair at Larry Walker Arena, part of the Central Georgia Technical College campus in Warner Robins, Ga.
The first session starts on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. and another one will happen from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 15.
The company website listed full-time openings including: production operator, plant manufacturing engineer, sanitation specialist, continuous improvement specialist, senior maintenance supervisor, buyer and HACCP coordinator among several other jobs.
Some salary ranges include $18.75 to $25.54 an hour for a production operator and $16.96 to $23.32 an hour for a sanitation specialist. The Jack Link’s website listed a buyer position for the plant at $57,125 to $78,546.
Last year Jack Link’s hired Karl Diver to become the plant manager at Perry.
Jack Link’s announced this project in 2022 which was built on a 120-acre site in Perry designed by Stellar.
Other groups who worked on the facility included the Georgia Governor’s Office, Development Authority of Houston County and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
