Tyson and many other plants are investing in automated, infrared walk-through temperature scanners.

A Seaboard Foods employee in Guymon, Okla., has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Processing at the facility has been closed since April 6.

Almost 600 employees from the plant have contracted the virus.

All the employees are at home in self-quarantine.

An additional 86 positive cases of coronavirus were related to the outbreak at the facility.
