Restaurant operators showcase premium meats in latest offerings.
Quiznos has added a hickory smoked burnt ends sandwich to the menu. The item includes prime rib cuts smoked with hickory wood chips, plus pickles, red onions, cheddar cheese and Blue Ribbon BBQ sauce.
“At Quiznos, we are always looking to create flavorful and unique items for our guests that they may not expect to find in our restaurants, and we are excited for them to try out this sandwich,” said Mike Gieseman, vice president of culinary innovation. “We really wanted to create something reminiscent of long summer days spent outside enjoying time with friends and family, and we believe this new sandwich conveys that feeling.”
Dog Haus has partnered with YouTube personality Sam “Sam the Cooking Guy” Zien to introduce The Uncle Morty burger, which has a beef patty, white American cheese, mustard-grilled pastrami, dill pickles, caramelized onions and garlic aioli on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.
The new chorizo breakfast burrito at Einstein Bros. Bagels combines eggs, chorizo, bacon, hashbrowns, asiago, Parmesan and romano cheeses and salsa in a flour tortilla.
“Our version of the breakfast burrito is highly flavorful and filling,” said Chad Thompson, head of culinary innovation, Einstein Bros. Bagels. “The Chorizo Breakfast Burrito truly lives up to its hype — made to order with just the right amount of smoky, spicy chorizo.”
Rolling out at Little Caesars is the Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni pizza, topped with more than 100 slices of old-world pepperoni, which has a smoky flavor and crisps up when cooked, according to the company.
“Little Caesars is already known for breakthrough products such as our Pretzel Crust Pizza and Crazy Calzony,” said Greg Hamilton, senior vice president of marketing at Little Caesars. “Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni elevates our already high-quality pizza offerings and gives customers the option to make pizza night a little fancier.”
Great Steak is serving a new steak and eggs sandwich, which has grilled steak, peppers, onions and scrambled eggs, topped with provolone cheese on a toasted roll.
Pizza Hut is introducing a line of oven-baked pastas, featuring penne noodles, tomato or alfredo sauce, and a dusting of Parmesan-oregano seasoning. Options include chicken alfredo; cheesy alfredo; veggie, which has green peppers, onions, tomatoes and black olives; and Italian meats, with tomato sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage and cheese.
“Customers come to Pizza Hut for best tasting pizza and new pizza innovations, but we now have pastas that are premium, great tasting and affordable for you or your family,” said Lindsay Morgan, chief marketing officer, Pizza Hut. “These are my new go-to order when I’m sending lunch or dinner to friends or family.”
Pollo Campero is debuting a spicy chicken sandwich topped with habanero mayonnaise, fried or grilled chicken and three sweet pickles on a brioche bun.
TacoTime has unveiled the cheese chipotle chicken quesadilla, made with chipotle cheese sauce, shredded cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, and grilled chicken in a cheese-flavored tortilla.
“We are thrilled to feature this new menu item that is truly a cheese lover's dream,” said Kim Heath, senior director of marketing for Kahala Brands, parent company of TacoTime. “Layered with three types of cheeses and wrapped in a cheese flavored tortilla, our new quesadilla is one TacoTime customers are sure to crave again and again.”
Limited-time offerings at The Counter include the Mac Stack burger, with tomatoes, cheddar cheese, deep-fried macaroni and cheese, caramelized onions and applewood smoked bacon on a brioche bun with a side of chipotle aioli. The Green Chile Mac n Cheeseburger has lettuce, American cheese, bacon and green chile macaroni and cheese on a brioche bun with a side of green chile aioli. A new sea salt caramel cookie butter shake combines vanilla bean ice cream, caramel and cookie butter, garnished with whipped cream, caramel sauce, sea salt and a cookie.
“The only thing better than your classic cheeseburger is a burger patty topped with mac and cheese, which is why we are so excited to introduce the new Mac n Cheese Burgers to our menu,” said Lindsay Seli, director of marketing at Kahala Brands, parent company of The Counter. “Also, for our shake lovers, especially those who love sweet and salty combinations, our new Sea Salt Caramel Cookie Butter Shake is an absolute must.”
