Fall offerings feature spicy flavors, from Buffalo to adobo.
Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza is bringing back its popular triple-pepperoni pizza, featuring giant, miniature cup and premium styles of pepperoni, plus traditional red sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheese on the brand’s original crust.
“When Triple Pepp first launched in 2020, it was an instant hit, which is why we're beyond excited to bring it back,” said Tracey Ayres, vice president of brand and innovation for Papa Murphy’s.
Two new pizzas are rolling out to 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes convenience stores. The breakfast pizza is topped with gravy, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and breakfast sausage. The vegetable pizza has diced red bell pepper, green bell pepper, white onions and sliced mushrooms.
“Whatever the occasion, pizza brings people together, and it’s always been an obvious choice to our customers,” said Vareesha Shariff, 7-Eleven senior director of hot food. “We’re constantly innovating to offer our customers new, exciting ways to enjoy their favorite things. This time, we’re tapping into the trends of more creative and non-traditional pizzas, including savory sauces and plant-based offerings. No matter how you slice it, you can’t go wrong with either of these new craveable pizzas.”
The new Chophouse Cheeseburger at Sonic Drive-In has a beef patty topped with aioli, crispy onion strings and two slices of American cheese on a toasted brioche bun.
“Our new Chophouse Cheeseburger takes a Sonic staple and matches it with a boldly-seasoned aioli and crispy onion strings to create a taste that our guests have never before experienced at the drive-in,” said Mackenzie Gibson, vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Sonic Drive-In. “At Sonic, we pride ourselves on offering a rotating selection of unique and unexpected flavors, and this latest innovation proves that you don’t have to sacrifice convenience for a totally craveable cheeseburger.”
Romano’s Macaroni Grill is featuring Buffalo chicken Parmesan in three menu selections. The Buffalo chicken Parmesan dish has crispy Parmesan chicken, gorgonzola alfredo capellini with spicy lemon butter sauce, celery and Calabrian peppers. The Buffalo chicken Parmesan sandwich features crispy Parmesan chicken, blue cheese crumbles, celery, Buffalo sauce and ranch served on a ciabatta roll with Parmesan truffle fries. The Buffalo chicken Parmesan macaroni and cheese has crispy Parmesan chicken, blue cheese crumbles, celery, Buffalo sauce and ranch on macaroni and cheese.

Wingstop Restaurants is introducing a crispy chicken sandwich that may be tossed in a selection of sauces, including lemon pepper, mango habanero, hickory smoked barbecue and more.

We’re so confident in the product that we’re incentivizing fans to split from their current chicken contender and find a new favorite chicken sandwich at Wingstop.”
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has unveiled its fall menu, featuring Kick’n Ranch Fried Chicken, with buttermilk ranch seasoning and a Buffalo ranch sauce, served with a side of pickle ranch for dipping. New sharable options include white cheddar cheese bites and country fried pickles. The casual dining restaurant also is offering apple streusel pie and peanut butter cup mocha for a limited time.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is testing chicken al pastor in select markets. The protein option has the flavors of spicy adobo, achiote, morita peppers, pineapple, chipotle and lime juice.
“We created chicken al pastor to fuel our fans who have been craving spicy chicken from Chipotle,” said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer. “The new menu item artfully pairs fire with flavor in a uniquely Chipotle way.”
New at Papa Johns is the Football Pizza, a pigskin-shaped pie with a crispy thin crust base, topped with cheese and pepperoni.
“We are always thinking outside of the (pizza) box when it comes to innovation,” said Scott Rodriguez, senior vice president of menu strategy and product innovation. “Football Pizza is just another fun way for us to bring our premium ingredients to consumers, during a key pizza-eating occasion.”
First Watch has rolled out its seasonal menu, featuring returning dishes such as the pumpkin pancake breakfast and butternut squash bisque, alongside new items. The Modern Croque Madame has challah bread griddled with melted cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomato and bacon, topped with a sunny-side up egg, Parmesan cream sauce and herbs. The Brisket Corned Beef Hash includes corned beef, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions and red bell pepper, topped with eggs, Parmesan cream sauce and herbs. A caramel crunch cinnamon roll features cream cheese icing, brown sugar caramel sauce, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and cinnamon streusel.
