WASHINGTON – The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service released a list of foodborne pathogen test kits validated by independent organizations.

FSIS noted the list is solely for informational purposes, and that none of the kits are implicitly endorsed by FSIS. However, FSIS does provide guidelines regarding validated testing and methods.
