Andrea Zahumensky has been named CMO of KFC US.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Andrea Zahumensky has been named chief marketing officer of KFC US for KFC Corp., a subsidiary of Yum! Brands Inc. Zahumensky succeeds Kevin Hochman, who was promoted to president and chief concept officer of KFC US in March.

In her new role, Zahumensky will lead marketing, advertising, media and consumer insights for the fried chicken chain, as well as lead the brand’s digital initiatives. Zahumensky also will be responsible for “developing and executing innovating marketing strategies to continue to build upon KFC’s brand turnaround in the US,” the company said.

Zahumensky joins KFC from Procter & Gamble, where she has spent the past 20 years. Most recently, she was brand director for P&G’s baby care business in North America working with the Pampers brand, and prior to that, she was associate marketing director in P&G’s oral care division, working with brands including Oral-B and Crest.

“Andrea is a highly regarded marketing professional with a 20-year track record of success building multi-billion-dollar brands globally,” Hochman said. “With her transformative approach to marketing and ability to build and inspire teams, I’m confident she is the right leader to continue to drive KFC’s marketing efforts to the next level.”
