KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tax Day, which falls on April 17 this year, is a source of stress and anxiety for many Americans. For many restaurant chains, however, the deadline for paying off Uncle Sam is an opportunity to lure diners with timely Tax Day promotions. Ranging from chicken to cheeseburgers, the following are among the deals offered by eateries to make the annual event a little less taxing:

Boston Market

Participating restaurants nationwide will offer a $10.40 Tax Day Special which includes a half chicken individual meal with two sides, cornbread and a regular fountain drink.

Chuck E. Cheese

For every large pizza purchased between April 17 and 19, guests will get one large cheese pizza free.

Firehouse Subs

To commemorate Tax Day the sandwich chain is inviting customers to download a coupon to receive a free medium sub with the purchase of any medium or large sub, chips, and a drink.

Hardee’s

The fast-food chain is offering taxpayers a free sausage biscuit on April 17 until 10 a.m., as part of its new “Tastes Like America” campaign.

Hot Dog on a Stick

The company will give out one free original turkey or veggie dog to any customers on April 17, Tax Day.

Schlotzsky’s

Schlotzky’s is offering a free small original sandwich with the purchase of chips and a medium drink on Tax Day.

Sonic

America’s Drive-in will be offering half-price cheeseburgers all day on April 17.
