WICHITA, Kan. – Jon Nash will lead Cargill’s North American protein business starting March 1. He most recently served as president of Cargill Protein’s foodservice business where he is credited with strengthening and building customer relationships.
Cargill Protein has 28,000 employees across nearly 50 locations. The unit produces beef, turkey, chicken and egg products to foodservice, retail and food ingredient companies across North America and around the world.

Nash joined Cargill in 1998. He is known for his diverse mix of commercial, operations and finance experience. In addition to his leadership role at Cargill Protein’s foodservice business, Nash has served as vice president of operations and was the general manager and controller of the company’s Fresno, California, beef facility.
As a result of Nash’s promotion, Misty High will assume the Cargill Protein foodservice business lead role. Currently, she serves as vice president and key customer leader in Cargill Protein. She is recognized for her strong track-record building strategic partnerships with foodservice and retail customers. She also has advanced joint efforts on sustainability. High joined Cargill in 2005 after starting her career in advertising and marketing. She is originally from Wichita and will return to the city for the job.
