BEAVERTON, Ore. —Reser's Fine Foods Inc. issued a recall on a limited number of chicken salad items following the ingredient recall by Tip Top Poultry Inc. for possible Listeria monocytogenes.
The company said it is issuing its own Class 1 recall on all the chicken from that supplier.

The product was distributed to retail locations across the United States.
The issue was discovered when Tip Top notified the FSIS that multiple samples of product confirmed positive for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes following testing in Canada.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) continued to update its list of companies that issued recalls over concerns of contaminated meat due to Listeria monocytogenes.
