SAN DIEGO — Lance Tucker, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Jack in the Box Inc., plans to leave the company within the next six weeks, it was announced July 30. Senior members of the finance department will assume his responsibilities on an interim basis until a successor is named.
Dawn Hooper, controller at Jack in the Box, will serve as principal financial officer following Tucker’s departure and will report to Darin Harris, chief executive officer, who joined the company in April.
Tucker has been with Jack in the Box for more than two years. Previously, he was CFO at Papa John’s International Inc. for nearly seven years.
“While we have only worked together for a short time, I appreciate Lance’s leadership and strategic thinking,” Harris said. “He has made a positive impact on the business and the executive leadership team here at Jack in the Box. We wish him the best of luck and are certain the finance team will be in good hands until his successor is named.”
