BOSTON — Foodspace Technologies LLC, a Boston-based food intelligence startup, launched a new platform to help brands and retailers bridge the gap between physical products and their digital listings.
Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the platform captures a product photo and categorizes data to create accurate product information quickly and efficiently, allowing brands to digitally transform their category management systems and build stronger attribute personalization strategies, according to the company.
“Thousands of brands and retailers don’t own their digital data and instead rely on consultants to collect product information and transfer them into databases, which is time consuming and expensive, as well as difficult to scale,” said Ayo Oshinaike, co-founder and chief executive officer of Foodspace. “In order to address the problem that so many companies are facing, Foodspace has decided to tackle the issue of product listings head on and create a unique solution.”
