MIAMI — Burger King Corporation has added the BK Breakfast Muffin sandwich and BK Breakfast Bowl to its breakfast menu lineup.

The BK Breakfast Muffin sandwich, available for $1 at some restaurants, features sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. The BK Breakfast Value Menu was launched in early 2007 as the first national breakfast value menu among quick-service restaurants, according to Burger King.

The BK Breakfast Muffin sandwich targets “the other” breakfast muffin sandwich in the market and will be promoted using a tongue-in-cheek advertising.

Participating Burger King restaurants nationwide will also feature the new, premium BKTM Breakfast Bowl. This item features roasted potatoes, grilled onions and peppers, scrambled eggs and sausage topped with cheese for a suggested retail price of $2.79.
