HAVERHILL, MASS. — Monogram Foods recently announced plans to break ground on a new 135,000-square-foot food production plant and distribution center in Haverhill, Mass., in April. Officials said the facility will serve as a distribution center for Monogram Foods’ production facilities in the Greater Boston area and expects operations to begin in April 2022.
“In addition to serving as a distribution center, approximately one-third of the facility will serve as food production space to support Monogram Foods’ growth strategy,” the company said.
The facility will bring more than 300 jobs to the community when it’s fully operational. Monogram said the project was a collaborative effort with the City of Haverhill and Massachusetts Economic Development.
The Memphis-based company produces items such as meat snacks, hot dogs, corn dogs, pre-cooked bacon, smoked sausage, appetizers, and other value-added meats.
