AUSTIN, MINN. – Hormel Foods Corp. announced the appointment of Paul Kuehneman to the role of vice president and controller. He is succeeding Jana Haynes, who recently departed the company.
Kuehneman, who has worked in various financial roles with Hormel since 1993, will report to Jacinth Smiley, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and his responsibilities include oversight of the company’s financial policies and reporting, internal controls, general accounting and cost and business unit accounting functions. Since 2020, he worked as assistant controller after spending several years as the vice president and CFO of Hormel’s Jennie-O Turkey Store subsidiary. Earlier in his career with Hormel he worked in numerous accounting, financial and internal auditing roles.
