SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Tyson Foods Inc. announced on Oct. 5 that the company plans to bring all its corporate employees under one location at its world headquarters in Springdale, Ark.
Currently, the meat producer has corporate locations in Chicago, Downers Grove, III., and Dakota Dunes, SD, for various parts of the business.
Tyson said the employees will start relocation in early 2023.
“Tyson’s diverse portfolio of products and brands provides us with an unmatched strategic advantage to serve our customers,” said Donnie King, president and chief executive officer of Tyson Foods. “Bringing our talented corporate team members and businesses together under one roof unlocks greater opportunities to share perspectives and ideas, while also enabling us to act quickly to solve problems and provide the innovative products and solutions that our customers deserve and value.”
The company also said it plans to expand the world headquarters to include more indoor and outdoor spaces designed to foster collaboration, connection and creativity.
“It will also include a number of features to enrich Tyson Foods team members’ work experience by accelerating change and innovation through diverse and dynamic spaces including state-of-the-art technology,” Tyson said.
In the next few months, the company said it would provide more details on the campus development, which will happen over multiple years and include remodeling some existing facilities in Arkansas.
