LOS ANGELES — Female-founded wagyu beef company Fattycow announced the launch of direct-to-consumer delivery service.
Fattycow’s online platform allows customers to bring premium meats straight to their doorstep. Its wagyu beef is sourced from ranches in Japan and the United States.
"Our mission is to provide premium wagyu beef to the general public, while also challenging the status quo in the beef industry," said Kelly Li, founder of Fattycow. "By creating a brand focused on moving past the pretentious image of high-quality meat, we aim to help break down that barrier for a better flavor experience."
For nearly a decade, Li met with ranchers around the world, visited production plants and created beef brands. Li founded Fattycow after she saw an opportunity to build a more accessible wagyu beef business. Through her business, she hopes to empower other women to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
