TROUTMAN, NC. – Officials with Case Foods Inc. announced two key leadership appointments, effective immediately. Chuck McDaniel, who previously worked for Case from 2003 to 2012, is the company’s new chief operating officer. He joined the company after working for the previous 12 years as vice president of account management for Agri Stats. During his career McDaniel also worked in various sales leadership roles with Columbia Farms, Gold Kist and Koch Foods.
“Chuck has been an integral part of our growth in Ohio during his tenure of 10 years with me. We are thrilled to welcome him back to the company in this new leadership role,” said Mike Popowycz, Case Foods vice chairman and chief executive officer.
The company also announced the promotion of Brian Roberts as its next chief commercial officer. In this new capacity, Roberts will oversee Case Farms’ sales and marketing, quality and food safety teams and lead the plant purchasing team while executing the company’s growth plans. Roberts’ tenure at Case began in 2016 as vice president of sales and marketing. Earlier in his career he worked in sales management roles with Gold Kist, Tyson Foods, Mar-Jac Poultry and Marshall Durbin
“Brian has played a key role in improving our sales mix and customer base since 2016, and we are eager for him to oversee the strategic growth of our company.” said Mike Popowycz.
