CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Scott Hardiman was named president of STX Beef Co. LLC, the company announced on June 3.

Hardiman is a meat industry veteran with 41 years of experience. Before joining STX Beef, Hardiman held various progressive roles at leading companies, including JBS Foods and DemKota Ranch Beef. He most recently served as president of J.H. Routh Packing Co.

“I am excited to join the outstanding team at STX,” Hardiman said. “STX is uncompromising in its mission to deliver a high-quality, consistent supply of Texas beef to our retail and foodservice partners. I look forward to continuing and strengthening the long-lasting commercial relationships with our local cattle ranchers and feeders.”

Corpus Christi, Texas-based STX Beef Co. operates a 25,000 square-foot state-of-the-art beef processing plant with the capacity to process more than 1,000 head of cattle per day.
