WASHINGTON — Yu Shang Food Inc. is recalling around 4,589 lbs of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products processed at its Spartanburg, SC, facility due to possible Listeria monocytogenes. According to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the company is issuing the recall “out of an abundance of caution.”
Yu Shang Food processed the items between Oct. 21 and Oct. 27. They have “use by” dates ranging from Aug. 21, 2025, through Aug. 27, 2025. A full list of the recalled products can be found here along with their labels.
The RTE meat and poultry products bear the establishment number “P-46684” or “EST. M46684” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The items were shipped to retail locations nationwide and were available for online purchase.
FSIS discovered the problem when performing routine testing and follow-up activities of finished product from Yu Shang Food on Oct. 21 that confirmed the presence of Listeria in the product.
