BOSTON, MASS. – Grass-fed beef brand Verde Farms announced that it will roll out a large retail partnership with supermarket chain Publix in the United States.
Starting in January, Verde plans to show off its ribeye, strip, sirloin, filet and other premium steak cuts at more than 1,400 grocery stores. The company said the cuts would be put alongside its 85/15 ground beef, which is already in some locations.
“Our partnership with Publix marks a significant milestone for Verde and is a powerful way to start 2025,” said Brad Johnson, chief executive officer of Verde Farms. “It reinforces what we’ve always believed, and what our consumer studies have proven: consumers want better protein options for themselves and their families. We’re thrilled to bring our delicious, high-quality beef to more home-cooked meals through Publix’s extensive network.”
Verde Farms continues to feature organic, 100% grass-fed beef sourced from cattle without antibiotics or added hormones.
“Verde’s mission aligns perfectly with Publix’s commitment to offering products that support the well-being of their customers while also promoting sustainability and animal welfare,” the company added.
Verde previously announced in 2024 an expansion into other retail chains like BJ’s Wholesale Club, The Fresh Market and Harris Teeter.
