DUBLIN, Ohio – As part of a larger move to update and refresh the third largest restaurant chain in the United States, Wendy’s will introduce a new logo in March 2013.
The company said the new design gives greater emphasis to the Wendy’s cameo. The company also is reimaging its restaurants, adding lounge seating with fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi and digital menu boards. Wendy’s said the remodeled restaurants to date have generated strong sales gains. The company plans to remodel 50 percent of its restaurants by the end of 2015.
Recent menu introductions have included a number of non-burger items, including an Asiago Ranch Chicken sandwich and, more recently, the Spicy Chicken Guacamole sandwich.
